Do the research
Reconcile ICU/CLDR, national tax authorities and payment-provider docs into a single verified profile per market.
Get money exactly right
Decimals, separators, symbol position and lakh/crore grouping — held to 12-digit precision with no floats anywhere.
Wire up honest FX
Pull rates straight from central banks and keep each one attributable to its source and as-of date.
Guard it with tests
Build automated checks that re-derive the data on every commit, so a wrong charge fails CI before it ships.
Map payment reality
Rank the methods a market actually completes purchases with, not the ones a spec says exist.
Keep the API clean
Plain HTTPS and JSON, six REST endpoints, nothing to keep in sync — the surface stays small on purpose.
